It will be interesting to see how they handle expansions for this game seeing as they are shipping it with all the features Civ V had with all of it its DLC. She ruled Egypt for 21 years and consolidated power despite tremendous opposition within and maintained relative autonomy in the face of one of the greatest empires in history and during one of its most tumultuous and violent periods. She was a very capable ruler, even if she eventually failed in the end. Regardless Cleopatra was a fine leader, even if she was technically Greek/Macedonian and not a 'true' Egyptian. Though few are really known like Cleopatra and Hatshepsut.
So the changes in VI are shifting things directly into the area of play I love the most.Ī totally new Egyptian leader would have been nice, there are several other Queens of Egypt they could have use. I always was far more interested in developing my cities and building things up than pure expansion.
